What we collect

Nothing. MyNameTracing has no accounts, no sign-ups, no newsletters and no analytics. We do not ask for your name, your email address, or your child's name — the name you type into the worksheet generator is used only to render the sheet on your screen and is never sent anywhere.

Names stay in your browser

Every worksheet is generated locally in your web browser using JavaScript and open-source handwriting fonts. The PDF files you download are assembled on your device. At no point does a name, a word list or a generated worksheet travel to — or get stored on — a server.

Uploaded files never leave your device

The batch generator can read a list of names from a .txt, .csv, .xls or .xlsx file. That file is read locally by your browser with the File API; it is not uploaded, transmitted or stored by us in any way.

Children's privacy

This site is designed for use with young children, which is exactly why it collects no data at all: there is nothing to sign up for, nothing to type beyond the practice words themselves, and nothing stored. Because no personal information is ever collected from any visitor — child or adult — the service is safe for classroom and home use by design.

Cookies and tracking

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, fingerprinting or third-party analytics. Your paper-size preference (Letter or A4) is stored in your browser's local storage so the generator remembers your printer; this preference never leaves your device and you can clear it any time by clearing site data in your browser.

Typefaces

Worksheets are rendered with open-source school handwriting typefaces from the Playwrite and Edu AU VIC WA NT families, released under the SIL Open Font License. They are loaded from this site and no data is shared with their authors when you use the generators.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the revised date above will be updated. If a future feature were ever to collect data, this page would be updated first — and the site would keep working fully offline either way.
